How To Have A Safe Easter With Your Dog!

Hey Woofa’s,

Easter has snuck up on us again this year!!!

I suppose it doesn’t help the fact that it’s a bit early either!

Whether you are religious and spend time in Church or spend time with family or just spend time with your dog over Easter, here’s some ways to make sure it’s safe for your dog!

Every year I write a few blog posts on different things to take note of over Easter regarding your dog.

This year, I’m putting them all together here in one spot so you can look up what you need to know.

HOW TO HAVE A SAFE EASTER WITH YOUR DOG!

1. Check out this Easter Safety Check List  post (click on the coloured writing)!

It covers everything from the dangers of dogs eating our chocolate and what you can do about it to how to have a fun and safe Easter egg hunt that includes your dog.

Also what to do if you’re having an Easter gathering at your house, what Easter food is safe for your dog as well as whether you should dress your dog up for Easter or not!

In the pic above, Billy doesn’t look overly happy.  He had the stuff on for roughly a minute and then it was removed, he wasn’t harmed in any way.

2. Why Can’t My Dog Eat Easter Eggs is another post I’ve previously written (click on the coloured writing)?

It’s important to know ‘WHY’ of why your dog can’t eat our Easter eggs.

While it’s easy to just give them some of our chocolate it’s not safe for them.

This post covers the why of why it’s not good to give dogs our Easter eggs, what symptoms to look for if your dog has eaten our chocolate and what to do.

Also an alternative to give your dog so they can enjoy Easter as well.

3. How to Include Your Dog This Easter, (click on the coloured writing)?

This post is similar to Easter Safety check list, however it does have 14 different ways you can include your dog in your Easter break.

4. Christmas Holidays Booked – What About Your Dog, (click on the coloured writing)?

Yes I’m aware this mentions Christmas Holidays, however if you’re going away over the Easter break or even for the School holidays that are coming up after Easter, this is a blog post you need to read.

It covers what you need to know if you’re going away, at any time of the year, regarding your dog.

5. How To Keep Your Dog Safe Christmas Day, (click on the coloured writing)?

I did it again, yes, because it also applies.

This post not just covers Christmas Day it’s about having a function at your house and being aware how it can affect your dog.

WHAT I’M TRYING TO GET AT HERE?

I’m posting these articles with a view of keeping your dog safe over the Easter break.

Regardless of whether you celebrate Easter or if you just enjoy the public holidays the whole point is to have fun and keep everyone, including your dog, safe.

That’s it!
