Have You Heard About – RSPCA Million Paws Walk?

Hey Woofa’s,

Have you heard about the RSPCA Million Paws Walk?

I have heard about it before, but haven’t really gotten involved!

I thought you had to go on a walk with a load of other dogs in the City!

For Billy, that would be setting him up for failure.

Too much over stimulation for his liking.

Turns out though, you CAN do that kind of walk OR you can just take your own dog for a walk everyday in May.

WHAT IS RSPCA MILLION PAWS WALK?

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals organises a walk on 29th May, 2022 to raise funds to fight animal cruelty and for animals in need.

You walk with your dog, your family and friends.

The idea is to raise much-needed funds to help rescue, rehabilitate and re-home dogs in need.

Or as stated above, you can just walk your dog every day in May.

The idea is to get sponsorship to raise money while you do it.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

You can either register to do the big walk on the 29th May at a venue near you.

OR if your dog is like Billy and would be over stimulated by all that activity – you can register for the virtual event and walk your dog every day in May.

Once you register you then share your page amongst family, friends and colleagues and ask for support along the lines of donations, for you to do your walk with your dog.

Then you either take them on the main walk or go every day.

Every cent raised will go towards rescuing, rehabilitation and re-homing dogs in need.
