Have you ever come home and found your dog missing?

You know!  That ‘heart in the pit of your stomach’ feeling when you’re calling them and they aren’t coming?

So you start to frantically check around the house and yard but you’re still not finding them!

Then realisation hits – your dog is missing!

Panic then sets in about where they are, how they got out, what could’ve happened to them and how the hell are you going to find them?

Who do I call?  What am I going to do………..HELP!

It’s not like you can pick up a phone and call or text your dog!

Well you’re not alone!

HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT CAMPBELLTOWN LOST FOUND AND INJURED PETS?

They are a Volunteer/Charity based Organisation for pets (of all kinds)  in the Campbelltown/Macarthur area.

When you see a lost, injured or deceased pet in this area these are the people to contact.

Everyone in this organisation loves animals!

The 38.6k page members also love animals!

As soon as a post is put up there are always responses as to whether someone has seen a lost/injured pet.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH CAMPBELLTOWN LOST FOUND AND INJURED PETS!

I’ve known about Campbelltown Lost Found & Injured Pets for quite some time now.

Last week while I was working in my Dog Grooming Salon, I heard these two dogs at the door.

They weren’t dogs I had seen before nor were they accompanied by a human.

I let them into the salon, as it was a very hot day, and they went straight for the water bowl.

They were very well looked after and well behaved dogs.

Clearly, they had gotten away from their home and were having an adventure – aka they were lost.

Straight away I knew to take a photo of them and post them on Campbelltown Lost Found & Injured Pets  Facebook page.

Not long after, one of the volunteers were able to come and scan the dogs for microchips.

We were able to contact their owners and after some time, reunite them with their family again.

I just had to share with you what this wonderful organisation does for our local pets and their owners.
