Doggie Spaghetti & Meat Balls!!

Hey Woofa’s,

This week I thought I’d get a bit creative with Billy’s meal!!!!  I decided on Doggie Spaghetti & Meat Balls too see how he’d go.

Well the IDEA of this dish went better in my head lol………….

A rough estimation of cost!

1 pack 1kg Beef Mince – $8.00

1/2 pumpkin – $1.00 (estimated)

3 carrots – $0.50 (estimated)

1 pack of spaghetti  – $2.00 (estimated)

teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil/coconut oil – $0.05 (estimated)

sprinkle of tumeric powder – $0.05 (estimated)

Total – $12.10

This meal will last Billy for roughly 7 days.

We also add dry food to his Interactive Treat Ball.

For his Dry Food we get Meals for Mutts Salmon and Sardine Flavour 15kg for $145.00.  This lasts us at least 12 months.  $12.00 per month

Total Cost per meal – $2.00 (rounded up).

Cost will vary on portion sizes which are determined by the size of your dog!

RECIPE

recipe for doggie spaghetti and meat balls

PLEASE NOTE – if your dog is not use to eating raw meat, make sure all the meat in the recipe is cooked.

If you want to introduce your dog to eating raw meat, do it slowly bit by bit over a week.

What didn’t work!!!!

The only thing that didn’t work with this recipe is I took the time to make the meat into balls.  When I plated it up and served it to Billy, he was like a kid.

He just ate the meat balls off the top, licked a bit of the mash and left the rest.  I have to mix the veggies and spaghetti all in with the meat for him to eat it all, fussy bugger.

In The Comments Below – Billy and I would love to hear whether your fur kids did what he did and just ate the meat balls or ate it all??
