Billy’s 5th Birthday Cake!!

I’d never made a Doggy Birthday Cake before and thought Billy’s 5th Birthday would be the best time to start.  I’d be lucky if it took me longer than 15mins to make and me not being a foodie (person passionate about food), I actually enjoyed making it.

Ingredients

  • 1 x 500g mince
  • 1 x 500g dog’s favourite meat (I put Rogue Royalties Primal Mix as Billy loves this)
  • 1 x carrot
  • 1 x zucchini
  • 2 x egg
  • 1 x tea spoon olive oil
  • 1 x packet of Lolly Dogs White Chocolate Drops (purchased from local Pet Barn Store, but any DOG CHOCOLATE will do)
  • 1x candle (with the number your dog is turning)

Method

  1. Mix mince and dog’s favourite meat together in a bowl.
  2. Add teaspoon of Olive Oil, keep stirring.
  3. Grate Zucchini and Carrot and add that to the bowl.
  4. Crack two eggs and add to the bowl mixing it all together.
  5. Remove mixture from the bowl onto a plate and use hands to cup and shape it into a round cake like shape.
  6. Place White Chocolate Drops around the outside of cake and some on top.
  7. Place numbered candle in the middle of cake (only light it as long as someone is holding the dog so they don’t dive in and burn themselves.

Billy gave his cake a 4.5 paws rating.
