Father’s Day falls on the first Sunday in September – and that’s not too far away!

While my Father is no longer a Dog Father – he’s MY father – he passed the love of dogs onto me in a huge way.

He’s a very hard man to buy for, especially as he gets older.

So I’m going to ask him what he would like!

As for Dean, well that’s up to Billy on what he wants to buy his dog father for Father’s Day.

It also feels like every time we turn around prices of EVERYTHING goes up!

So I got to thinking of some cost effective gift ideas, that probably sound boring but if you get into the spirit of things I’m sure you can have fun with them.

GIFT IDEAS FOR THE DOG FATHER IN YOUR LIFE!

1. Cook dad breakfast/lunch/dinner made up with all his favourite foods;
2. Do all dad’s chores for the day – age appropriate of course;
3. Watch your dad’s favourite shows with him;
4. Let dad watch all his favourite movies;
5. Make up a song and sing it to your dad;
6. Make dad’s Father’s Day card on the computer;
7. Offer to be your dad’s slave for the day;
8. Let dad and doggy (and kids) have a movie day, all day;
9. Declare the day a pj day;
10. Dad gets to choose what music is played, all day;
11. What dad says goes;
12. You could all dress up for lunch/dinner and pretend you’re out to eat;

17. Play dad’s favourite games;
18. Dress up BUT dad gets to choose what everyone wears;
19. All dad’s favourite meals get cooked;
20. Take funny pics of dad and dog (and kids etc) and put them together in a presentation to him;
21. Write/type dad a letter on what he means to you;
22. Ask dad questions about himself when he was younger (bond with dad);
23. Write a story about your dad, make him the lead character;
24. Write a letter to the Dog Father in your life from your dog;
25. Make a video for your dad telling him all the things you love about him;
26. Be creative and make your dad something…………
27. You can do the go out to lunch, go to the beach, or park etc whatever your dad is into, DO THAT with him and the DOG of course;
28. Buy a gift for your Dog Father from your Dog!!

You get the idea, HAVE FUN and BE CREATIVE with Father’s Day.

The best thing you can do for the dog father in your life is to spend time with them.

What you do with that time is completely up to you and your dog father.
