Easter Gifts For Your Dog!

Hey Woofa’s,

Easter, Easter, Easter is everywhere!

We went to the shops to get groceries today – exciting I know – but I couldn’t help but notice how many EASTER EGGS and gifts that were around all related to Easter.

There’s crap loads of Easter themed stuff out there – if that’s what you’re into.

When I was a kid, and still now, I never liked Easter Eggs!!!  OMG!!  I know right!!!

Mum stopped buying them for me but felt the need to get me something so she would end up buying me pj’s or a book or slippers, something that she knew I would like!

Dean and I stopped buying Easter stuff for each other because we’re no longer kids and we see it as a waste of money.

HOWEVER, when it comes to Billy…………if I see dog friendly Easter Eggs or Easter themed cookies, I get them for him.

So if you truly must get your dog something for Easter – here’s a list of ideas to get you thinking……………

Even if you give them nothing, the good thing with dogs is, they’ll love you unconditionally no matter what.

WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO BUY EASTER STUFF FOR MY DOG?

I guess this really depends on your budget and practicality.

We usually head to –

  • the Reject shop,  they have an aisle dedicated to pets with treats, beds, and toys.  They also have decorations, so if you just wanted to take an Easter pic of your dog you could get some Easter related decor stuff and put it around your dog and take a pic?
  • Kmart, they also have a decent arrangement of Easter stuff for dogs, Easter treats and toys etc.  They also seem to have a lot in stock.
  • Big W, they have an assortment but most of it seems to be already sold out!!
  • Petbarn
  • Petstock!

Petbarn and Petstock don’t seem to have much at all relating to Easter in itself but they have a lot of different treats for your dog.

You can also shop on line although, you’re cutting it fine if you want it delivered before Friday!!

SIDE NOTE –

Do you know that your dog can actually buy YOU gifts for Easter as well?

You don’t have to do all the gift giving.

You may have to help them out a bit, but why not buy yourself some gifts and say they’re from your dog?

I do this all the time!

Billy is a great gift buyer, he ALWAYS knows exactly what I would like!

Why not have some fun with it?

WHAT DOES ALL THIS MEAN?

You can include your dog in your Easter celebrations.

Just because they have four legs doesn’t mean they have to miss out.

IF you do decide to get them Easter Eggs/treats, make sure they are dog safe.
