Hey Woofa’s,
9 days out from Christmas Day, ideally you should have an idea by now what you’re doing or where you’re going!
If you’re hosting Christmas Day, you really need to consider your dog’s needs as well.
Same goes if you’re heading out for Christmas Day and leaving your dog behind!
We’ll be out for Christmas Day this year, so we plan to make Billy as comfortable as possible.
I’ve put together a list of things to consider regarding keeping your dog safe on Christmas Day.
These are just some ideas on keeping your dog safe……….
You may know your dog well when they are home in their own environment, but how are they when a lot of people are around? Or people that aren’t normally there, including kids?
The whole point of this post is to keep EVERYONE safe and happy this Christmas Day.
Whether your dog is social or not, don’t set them up for failure this Christmas Day.
Refrain from putting them in situations or environments they aren’t familiar with.
Take note of any changes in your dog’s behaviour. This is the first indicator that something isn’t right for them!
Is it too many people, too much food, have they been bitten, are they over heated, are kids tormenting them, or is it too loud?
WATCH BOTH KIDS AND DOGS AT PARTIES.
Hopefully this Christmas Day Safe List will help you and your family have a relaxing and fun Christmas Day.
